We depart
from Rome crossing the ancient Appian way and so many small
towns rich of history.
Castel Gandolfo is the summer residence of the Popes. Albano,
dominates its Lake from its high position and. Genzano which
every year commemorates the Corpus Domini with magnificent
drawings made of flowers covering its main steet.
Ariccia, with his bridge dominating a valley 80 metres deep;
Nemi with its lake and its strawberry fields. Rocca di Papa,
750 meters high, dominates the whole of the valley of Rome.
Grottaferrata is famous because of its mystic Abbey and at
last Frascati, the largest city in the area where we will
stop for a walk through the narrow streets tasting the typical
white and dry wine, which made it so famous in Europe and
in the world.
